Recon Air Corporation Aircraft Maintenance and Resale Company employs 10 people.

Recon Air is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization AMO 69-91 and specializes in the rebuilding and resale of de Havilland DHC-2 Beavers, DHC-3 Otters and turbo conversions of same.

Recon Air Corporation has been in operation in the Greenstone ares for over twenty-five years. Recon Air owns a 10,000 square foot hanger with 34 foot tail-height door clearance and an adjoining 6,400 square foot hanger.

Along with these, we also specialize in other services including PT6 monitoring, inspections and calibration.

In recent years Recon Air Corporation has rebuilt damaged de Havilland DHC-3 Otter aircraft and converted them to turbo-engine power. Recon Air has recently refurbished, (inside and out) Aero-Commanders and Cessna aircraft which operate under contract with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.

Recon Air is the only approved install facility for the Texas Turbine Garrett Conversion DHC-3T. (The Super Otter)

Our Mission Objective

Recon Air is performing market research and education on the sale of rebuilt de Havilland Beaver, Otter and Turbo Otter and possible identification of agents or aircraft owners.

We are located at the Geraldton District Airport in Geraldton, Ontario.
